Overtime, poor quality, skipping corners, avoidance, no communication. our build by Burbank continued..

4.5 weeks since 'PCI' and the house looks no closer to being finished. Inside the house still awaiting re-painting of MOST the walls, with Burbank preferring to patch up rather than doing a full repaint (no surprise seeing the other shortcuts they have taken)

Windows are still a disgrace with scratches still all over a number of frames, large scratch on splash-back window, and fixes (which needed replacements) with visible paint strokes, are a different shade than unpainted frames AND the deformities/dents are still visible after repair.

If someone bought a new car and it was all scratched up by the supplier during delivery and they said they can cover the scratches with a touch of paint, NOONE in the world would accept this. We have paid Burbank way over $300,000+ and this is what we get. Disgusting!!

All the problems of poor quality materials and work compounded by zero communication with any one from Burbank apart from the client relationship girl (sometimes) responding to emails.

Poor repair work means, brush strokes visible, colour of repaired frame and original frame is different, and damage/indentation of frame still visible. This really is very very poor standard of work! Hard to believe, thought we were buying a new house #buildingwithburbank

Upstairs window 1 was the most scratched window. Nothing done about it so far, no communication from Burbank about it.

Burbank PCI - Window Problems

15 months after signing the contract we finally got a date for the PCI for our build with Burbank. Unfortunately the quality of some of the work, especially concerning the windows was terrible. Our independent inspector said the scratched up windows were some of the worst they had seen on any build!

This is not just on a couple of windows, but pretty much ALL! And these are just photos of the downstairs windows.

Nearly 3 weeks after the PCI inspection and windows are still the same with no direct word from Burbank that they will be relacing the windows.

Seems like buying a new house from Burbank is not actually get brand new condition, our 10 year old rented house has windows in much better condition.. Very dissapointed.
